Privacy policies generally contain a lot of confusing legal and technological word wizardry that is difficult to understand.  Suffice it to say that we at Physical Therapy Simplified take your data and privacy seriously and want to protect both.  We have https for security purposes and to protect your data and information.   We use google analytics and we are an Amazon affiliate, both of these sites use cookies.  Other than that we do not collect any personal data or information.  In the future, we may use displays adds and we have included the ways that we know of to opt out of cookies from these in the cookies section below.  For our visitors from the European Union, please see that section below to opt out of cookies.  For those from California, we do not market to or have a target audience for individuals under the age of 13.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Google Analytics mainly uses first-party cookies to report on visitor interactions on this website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
